Family Math Research Consortium
The Family Math Research Consortium (FMRC) is a standing advisory to the staff and leadership of the National Center on Family Math. The FMRC brings diverse expertise and perspectives, including MSIs, from the research community to the National Center to 1) advise staff on research initiatives and 2) provide the perspective of the research community on other initiatives of the Center. In the area of research, the Center seeks to:
- Support, encourage, and/or stimulate research that informs timely and actionable ideas for policy, practice, and professional development.
- Curate, communicate, and disseminate research that differentiates the benefits of family math practices and programs for different groups under different circumstances.
- Identify, and build partnerships that can strengthen and sustain the research base for family math.

Family Math Parent Advisory Council (PAC)
The Center for Family Math’s Parent Advisory Council (PAC) provides consultative services to inform the strategic direction and activities of the Center. PAC members come from different backgrounds and regions of the U.S., but all share in common their roles as parents, grandparents and caregivers; their wisdom as parent leaders in their communities and nationally; and their commitment to Family Math. In fact, many PAC members have served as Family Math advisors since 2016, helping to inform the establishment of the Center itself. Current PAC members include: Toyin Anderson, Lilia Becerril, DéJon Banks, Rosazlia Grillier, Sonja Lennox, Sara Morrison, Alecia Murray, Ariel DeNay Rainey, and Shereese Rhodes.
