On Saturday January 31st it was our priviledge to work with the Saturday Academy, a group of students so dedicated to learning that they are willing to spend their Saturday mornings going to museums, math and science presentations, and various workshops. (Can I join?) The group has been ably led for many years by Denise Lee. Younger members of the group were led in a circus workshop by students in the Ithaca College circus club. Teresa and Dani worked with some students using SeeLogo and Teresa's logo "turtle". Older members worked with me learning to program games using Scratch. All in all a great time!
