Math  Camp Ithaca Summer 2013

The camp will run from 9:00 – 1:00 Monday till Friday (dates vary).  The children will be working in small groups with the teachers/coaches.  Most of the teachers are vibrant, enthusiastic and skilled Ithaca College Music majors who love Math.

The children will be divided into groups according to age and other factors.  There will be 4 activities and the kids will rotate between them:

• Math and Music (Rhythm and pattern,  composition, Fibonacci and sound…)
• Math and Art  (Building 3-D objects, Platonic solids, Mathematical stars, Labyrinth, Euler’s Formula…)
• Math and Computers (Scratch, Mathematical Art, online activities)
• Math, Puzzles and Games (Chess,  OkiDoku, Logic Puzzles…)
